Privacy Policy

From students (visitors): Browsing our notes does not require you to sign up, log in, or share any personal information. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or location.

From administrators: Our admin panel requires a username and password. We store the username and a securely hashed (bcrypt) version of the password. The plain-text password is never stored.

Server logs: Our web server (nginx) automatically records standard access logs containing IP address, timestamp, requested URL, browser user agent, and referrer. These logs are kept for operational and security purposes and are not used to identify individuals.

We use a single session cookie (shekedu_session) only when an administrator logs in. This cookie is HTTP-only, secure, and used solely to keep the admin signed in. Students browsing the site receive no cookies from us.

Study material (PDFs, images, links) is uploaded only by our administrators and is intended to help students preparing for competitive exams. We do not collect or analyse anything you view or download.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The site and app communicate only with our own servers at shekhawatieducation.tech and api.shekhawatieducation.tech.

We do not sell, rent, or share any information with third parties for marketing or other purposes. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Our material is intended for students preparing for competitive examinations. Since we do not collect personal information from visitors, our service can be used safely by users of any age. Parents and guardians of minor users are encouraged to supervise their use of the internet.

We protect access to our service using industry-standard practices: HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords for administrators, and restricted server access. No system can be 100% secure, but we work to safeguard the limited information we hold.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of our service after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
